John Richard European Crossroads Library or Console Table
John Richard European Crossroads Library or Console Table
John Richard European Crossroads library table or console table. Features a striking faux-plank tabletop with an intentionally aged, rich, and rustic distressed dark-walnut finish. Engineered with a classic trestle base architecture, utilizing four stately turned column legs on wide feet connected by a heavy center stretcher. Beautifully finished on all four sides with richly carved acanthus-leaf style accents on the apron and corners, making it perfect to float in the center of a room. Two drawers with antiqued brass hardware offer storage.
Standing at 33" high, this grand-scale piece is remarkably close to standard counter height, allowing it to easily transition into a magnificent, free-standing kitchen island or breakfast station in an Old-World or rustic European-style kitchen. Because it is beautifully finished on all four sides, it offers incredible multi-functional appeal throughout the home, serving just as naturally as a dramatic sofa-back console table, an impressive foyer statement piece, or an elevated library desk.
