William Switzer Venetian Style palladian buffet . Sideboard . credenza
Palladian architecture is inspired by the designs of the Venetian architect Andrea Palladio (1508–1580). Palladio's work was strongly based on the symmetry, perspective and values of the formal classical temple architecture of the Ancient Greeks and Romans. From the 17th century Palladio's interpretation of this classical architecture was adapted as the style known as Palladianism.
The gorgeous Palladian Buffet is constructed of the highest quality woods and veneers. Hand finished by William Switzer Craftsmen in their "driftwood-natural" shade with gray accents. Gracefully curved at each end with hand carved draped ribbon detail. Beautifully finished inside and out, with ample storage. Made in Canada.
